Landscaping Project in Hampstead
2022 - 2024
The property in Hampstead had crumbling boundary walls and a 300m2 driveway covered with asphalt. We were tasked with the rebuilding of and aesthetical improvements to the driveway.
We rebuilt the boundary/retention walls and repaired the two brick pillars which stand at the entrance to the driveway. We designed new paving for the driveway; it was excavated, new layers were compacted and paved with a combination of gravel-bound resin, concrete and granite sets which mark parking bays. Each parking bay is marked with a ground light.
Off the driveway on higher ground, there is a summer garden. We repositioned the garden’s retention wall and designed a round-shaped sitting area paved with paving sets, as well as its access from the small side steps.
The main steps were reclad with limestone, and they were slightly redesigned. Near the small steps, wall pipes were hidden with wooden trellises. We designed the electric gate and metal railing to the boundary walls and specified some wall lighting.
